The automatic academic scholarships are based on your GPA and test scores . If you're a MS resident with 3.0+ and 21+ ACT, you get something automatically. Non-residents need 3.30+ GPA for consideration.

BUT the real money is in the competitive ones through the General Application. They look at leadership, service, essays—not just numbers. My roommate got a $4k scholarship nobody else applied for because it required an essay about wetlands conservation . READ the criteria carefully. If you fit something obscure, APPLY.
