Calculus at Mississippi State - any tutors available?

On top of that, visa stress is always lurking in the background. I've been putting in the work and staying diligent, but Calculus has me feeling lost and overwhelmed. Does anyone know of any tutors available at Mississippi State who could help me out?

It's like I speak one language in Business Administration classes and a whole different one in Calculus! I'm trying to stay positive and keep pushing through, but a little extra support could go a long way. If any of you have tips or recommendations for tutors who are good at breaking down those tough Calculus concepts, please share.

So here's the deal with calculus help at MSU:

Official resources:

• The Learning Center (267 Allen Hall) - free tutoring in ALL subject areas including math. They have special assistance for math/stats . Phone: 662-325-2957
• Math Lab - also in Allen, walk-in help from TAs and tutors

Private tutors near campus:

• Marie G. - works in the math lab actually, rates $10-25/hr, tutors Calc I-II
• Joshua B. - MSU grad in Biomedical Engineering, $35-41/hr, tutors multiple math subjects
• Dustin M. - geosciences major, $60-72/hr

The free options are solid but if you need more 1-on-1 time, the private tutors are worth it. Also some professors are goated - Dr. Hyeona Lim apparently makes Calc "extremely easy" according to reviews . See if you can get into her section!
