Oh, I can definitely share about Mississippi Valley State University! During my time there, I found that professors were generally accessible outside of class hours. I remember my psychology professor, Dr. Johnson, always made time for students after class to discuss assignments or clarify concepts. He even offered to meet on weekends if we needed extra help. That level of dedication really stood out to me.
However, I must admit that not all professors were as readily available. Some had limited office hours or preferred communication via email. It really varied from faculty to faculty. My advice for students would be to take advantage of office hours early on in the semester to establish a connection with your professors.
Did you have a similar experience with professor accessibility at Mississippi Valley State University? How did you navigate building relationships with your professors outside of class?
Would love to hear others' experiences with Mississippi Valley State!
