As a Mississippi resident who attended Mississippi State University, I found the campus to be fairly accessible for students without cars. While having a car can be convenient, the university offers a reliable bus system that takes students around campus and into town. Additionally, there are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance of campus, making it easy to get essentials without a vehicle. The university also has a strong sense of community, with students often willing to give rides or carpool to off-campus events. However, it's important to plan ahead for longer trips or emergencies. How do other students without cars navigate daily life at Mississippi State?
