Okay, this is huge. Ole Miss students get a free New York Times membership that lasts until graduation . Like, full access to "every article, game, recipe, review and podcast the Times produces" .

Here's how to get it:
  1. Go to the NYT website
  2. Create an account using your olemiss.edu email (not go.olemiss.edu)
  3. Claim your digital pass
  4. Download the app and log in
That's it. No credit card, no hidden fees.

I also found out about Kanopy — a movie streaming platform with critically acclaimed films like Parasite and Lady Bird — also completely free through the library .

And if you hit a paywall on a scholarly article? Don't pay. Use the library's "One Search" or Interlibrary Loan Service . Library staff can usually find the article in one or two days, free.

The library also has IDEAlab where you can borrow microphones, cameras, and MacBook Pros with Adobe Creative Cloud . Need equipment for a project? Don't buy it — borrow it free for up to three days .

We're paying so much in tuition. Might as well get our money's worth! 🔥
