I completely understand the challenges of staying engaged in online classes, especially at Hinds Community College. When I first started teaching remotely, I found it challenging to maintain my students' attention and participation. One strategy that has worked well for me and my students at the campus is incorporating interactive elements into the online sessions.

For example, I use polls, breakout rooms, and discussion boards to keep students engaged and encourage active participation. Additionally, establishing clear communication channels and setting expectations early on has helped create a sense of accountability among students.

However, I'm always looking for new ideas and approaches to enhance online engagement. Has anythe universitylse at the college tried different methods to keep students engaged in virtual learning environments? Let's share our experiences and support each other in navigating this new educational landscape.

Online classes can suck the life outta you real fast. I've been through the wringer with online courses. What helped me was setting a strict schedule, finding a quiet 😴 study spot (away from my bed), and reaching out to professors when I felt lost. Still struggling to stay motivated though. Anyone got tips for dealing with that?
