What are some beginner-friendly tips for gardening?

I've recently started exploring gardening as hobby and found few beginner-friendly tips that have really helped me get started. One thing I've learned is the importance of understanding your plant's specific needs, like sunlight requirements and watering frequency. It's been rewarding to see my plants thrive when provide them with the care they need. Another tip that has made difference for me is starting small focusing on just few types of plants at first to not feel overwhelmed. I've also discovered the joy of learning from experienced gardeners in online communities or through courses. Institutions like Udemy offer courses on gardening basics which have been incredibly helpful for me. Have any of you found online resources particularly useful for learning about gardening?.
