My time at Coahoma College hasn’t been as fulfilling as I’d hoped. While I consistently attended classes and returned home daily, I feel I missed opportunities to engage more deeply with campus life. Had I been more proactive and open to exploring what the school offered—like extracurricular activities or student organizations—the experience might have felt more enriching. Unfortunately, the campus itself struck me as uninviting and monotonous, with limited social or cultural outlets beyond academics. That said, the professors were truly exceptional—passionate educators who actively supported my growth and offered invaluable guidance when I sought help. While the environment felt lackluster, the academic support system was a bright spot that I deeply appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that your time at Coahoma College hasn't been as fulfilling as you'd hoped. When was exploring colleges, found it helpful to consider not only the academic programs but also the campus culture and support services available. It's essential to choose major that aligns with your interests and goals to make your college experience more enriching. Have you considered talking to academic advisors or career counselors at Coahoma College for guidance on selecting major that might be better fit for you? Your interests and strengths can play significant role in finding the right path. What subjects or activities are you passionate about?

College can be tough and sometimes not everything goes as planned. fr when i started my music therapy major at delta state, i had some doubts too. But let me tell you, pushing through those rough patches has been so worth it! 🌟 Have you tried reaching out to your professors or the counseling center at Coahoma College?

They can be super helpful in guiding you towards resources or even just lending an ear. Hang in there, buddy! 🤗 How are you feeling about your major overall? What's something that lights you up when it comes to music therapy? 🎵

highkey hey there! i totally get where you're coming from. At my art major, we had a similar issue last semester. Have you tried talking to your advisor or exploring different classes? 🎨.

It's easy to look back and see what we missed, but that awareness is actually a gift. Now you know: you're someone who needs community, engagement, and a campus that feels alive. That's not a flaw—that's self-knowledge.

The professors being exceptional is huge. A lot of students at big universities never get that kind of personal support. You had passionate educators who saw you and helped you grow. That's not "lackluster"—that's a genuine academic foundation.

For whatever comes next—a four-year school, a job, a new chapter—you'll go in knowing what you need. You'll seek out the connections. You'll build the community. You learned the lesson. That's what matters.
