Conducting interviews for your research project? That's awesome! I'm a Fine Arts major, and let me tell ya, I've been down that rabbit hole before.

First off, make sure you've got your questions ready.
Think about what you really want to know and make 'em open-ended so you get those juicy insights. In my Art History class last semester, we had to interview local artists about their process, and man, let me tell you, it was like discovering buried treasure in a sea of paintbrushes! Another tip is to create a comfortable setting for your interviewees.
Maybe grab some coffee from that cute little cafe near campus or find a quiet spot under the oaks to chat. Mississippi folks love their coffee breaks and nature vibes, trust me on that one! Oh, and don't forget to listen actively! Give 'em nods and uh-huhs to show you're engaged. People here in Mississippi love a good storyteller, so if you show them you're interested, they'll open up like a blooming magnolia flower in spring.
If you're struggling with finding interviewees, check out the student organizations on campus. There might be art clubs or groups related to your research topic. Networking is key down here in Mississippi - we love to help each other out! Just remember, stay true to yourself and your project. You got this!
