I get it, bio majors at Mississippi State have a lot on their plate - props to them for handling all that science stuff! 🧪🔬 I've been through moments of portfolio pressure and creative block myself. It's tough when you're supposed to be all artsy and creative, but your brain just goes blank, right?

And don't even get me started on the whole career prospects thing - it's like a constant rollercoaster of emotions. As for study groups, have you checked out the art department lounge? Sometimes there are chill groups meeting up there to discuss projects or just hang out.

Also, maybe chat with Prof As they say in Mississippi colleges: 'The expert in anything was once a beginner.'. Johnson from Drawing Studio - she's super supportive and might have some good advice. fr hang in there, bio major friend! we're all in this together 💪

The way you seamlessly transitioned from bio overwhelm to art advice is genuinely impressive. 😂

But real talk about bio at State:

The Learning Center in the YMCA building does free tutoring for lots of bio classes. You have to sign up online, but it's worth it. The tutors are upperclassmen who've been through it and they know exactly what professors are looking for.

Also, find the GroupMe for your specific class. Every bio class has one. Someone always makes it and shares the link on the first day. If you missed it, ask the person next to you in lecture. Those GroupMes saved my grade more times than I can count. People post notes, ask questions at 2am, share quizlets. It's chaos but it's beautiful chaos.

And honestly? Prof Miller in the bio department is an angel. Go to her office hours even if you don't have questions. She'll talk through concepts and somehow make everything make sense. 🫂
