But real talk about bio at State:

The Learning Center in the YMCA building does free tutoring for lots of bio classes. You have to sign up online, but it's worth it. The tutors are upperclassmen who've been through it and they know exactly what professors are looking for.

Also, find the GroupMe for your specific class. Every bio class has one. Someone always makes it and shares the link on the first day. If you missed it, ask the person next to you in lecture. Those GroupMes saved my grade more times than I can count. People post notes, ask questions at 2am, share quizlets. It's chaos but it's beautiful chaos.

And honestly? Prof Miller in the bio department is an angel. Go to her office hours even if you don't have questions. She'll talk through concepts and somehow make everything make sense.
