I've been digging through scholarship options for my sophomore year at Ole Miss, and I stumbled upon something that might help some of my fellow Mississippians. It's called the Mississippi Resident Tuition Grant. It's not going to pay for everything, but every little bit helps when you're trying to keep those student loans down, right?
The application wasn't too crazy, mostly just proving residency and having a decent GPA. Has anyone here actually received it before? I'm just wondering about the timeline for when they notify you. Fingers crossed!
I'm also keeping an eye out for any local community foundation stuff in my county. This whole process feels like a second job sometimes! But gotta do what you gotta do to get that degree.
What other state-specific grants am I missing?
