Is Jones College actually good for nursing prerequisites?

I'm planning to start at Jones College then transfer to a four-year nursing program. A student review said: “The science professors are great, but the nursing prerequisite classes fill up fast” . Another said: “Advisors helped me map out exactly what I needed to transfer to USM” . I'm worried about getting the classes I need. For current Jones students, how hard is it to get into anatomy and physiology? Do I need to register the minute classes open? Also, do credits actually transfer smoothly, or do students run into problems? I don't want to waste a semester. 🫀

The MATT articulation tool is your best friend. Jones uses it to make sure credits transfer to any Mississippi university. I transferred to USM nursing without losing a single credit. But you have to follow the pathway exactly. One wrong elective and you might be repeating. Meet with an advisor every semester. Don't guess. The system works if you use it
