Being a student-athlete is a full-time gig with little room for downtime. I'm constantly juggling assignments, workouts, and team commitments. With all this going on, I sometimes worry about my academic eligibility and how to keep up with the financial demands of college life. I've applied for scholarships and work-study programs to lighten the load, but it never feels like enough. Any advice from fellow Mississippi students on relief options specific to our state would be a game-changer for me.

Are there any local grants or resources that can help us out? I'm not alone in this struggle, so let's share our experiences and tips to support each other through these tough times. ong we're all in this together as part of the student community here in mississippi.

bro the financial struggle is SO real. im not an athlete but i work two jobs and still feel like im drowning sometimes. one thing that helped me was going to the financial aid office IN PERSON and just being like "help me find literally anything." they found me a small scholarship i didn't even know existed bc it was for my specific major. also check out the ole miss scholarship webpage—there's stuff for transfers, residents, all kinds of categories . sometimes the smaller $500 ones add up!!

also hotty toddy 🏈💙
