I’m currently a second-year Master’s student preparing applications for PhD programs this cycle. My current GPA is 3.72, and I anticipate a notable improvement in both my upcoming fall and winter terms. I’m wondering whether I should proactively share my updated academic record with admissions committees once the new grades are finalized in January. If so, what would be the most effective and respectful way to communicate this—such as through a formal email or a follow-up statement—to ensure my application reflects the most accurate academic trajectory?
