I checked their pre-med track. Small classes. Research required. Good MCAT prep. Alumni at Johns Hopkins, Emory, Vanderbilt.
But here’s my fear: maybe those students were already smart. Tougaloo just took credit.
I come from a bad high school. No AP classes. No labs. I’m behind.
Will Tougaloo catch me up? Or will they assume I already know things I don’t?
I visited a bigger university. The advisor said: “We expect students to teach themselves basics over the summer.” That scared me.
So my question: does Tougaloo hold your hand when you need it? Or do they throw you in the deep end?
I need a school that teaches. Not just tests. Please tell me your real experience. No PR
