Tuition is expensive. Rent is expensive. Everything is expensive. But I just found out Ole Miss offers a ton of free services that most students don't know about .

Need equipment for a project? The library's IDEAlab loans cameras, microphones, even MacBooks with Adobe Creative Cloud — all free .

Job interview coming up but no professional clothes? The Career Closet has you covered — complete outfits, shoes, accessories, completely free .

No one tells you this stuff during orientation. I'm making a list and checking off every free thing I can find. Anyone know other hidden freebies?

The library loans MacBooks for a whole semester. Not just a week. A whole semester. I didn't believe it until I did it. Saved me from buying a laptop I couldn't afford. Also: Adobe Creative Cloud is free on those laptops and also in some computer labs. Also: free Microsoft Office with your student email. Also: free access to the New York Times and Wall Street Journal through the library website. The list is long. Most of its hidden in emails nobody reads. Start reading those emails.
