I finally stopped being stubborn and actually read the UM website. Apparently there's a whole list of resources I didn't know about :
My roommate went to the Career Center and said they helped with his resume. But he's also the kind of person who thinks everything is "amazing." I need real opinions from real students.
The Center for Student Success offers "academic consultations" and "student success coaching" where they help with note-taking, study skills, and time management . That sounds exactly like what I need because my high school study methods are NOT working here. But is it awkward? Like, do you sit there while some stranger tells you you're doing everything wrong?
Also, does anyone know if the health center is actually affordable? I've been ignoring a cough for three weeks because I'm scared of the bill. The website didn't list prices.
For current Ole Miss students: which resources have you actually used and found helpful? I'm tired of struggling alone.
